Help Sherry Battle Crohns!

Sherry has Chronic Crohn’s disease which is an Autoimmune disease.  Simply put--the body attacks itself. Crohn’s usually has active periods and non-active periods called remission. Sherry was diagnosed at the age of thirty but probably has had the disease her entire life. Sherry continued to have issues even after having a bowel intussusception at 9 months of age at which time had a large part of bowel removed. Since diagnosed Sherry has had no time of remission. She has tried various treatments and combinations of meds that have not helped her. She also, has had about 30 surgeries due to abscesses forming in her rectum. She has seen many specialist from Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore who told her that she is in the 5% worse cases and could not help her. Sherry has recently been told that she needed to go to the Cleveland Clinic for a consultation which is the best place for Crohn’s. After various tests at her visit it has been determined that she must have her entire colon and rectum removed. Any money raised will help her with Co-pays, Travel to and from with her family, Food expenses, hotel stays, and any additional treatment she needs once she is home. Surgery is scheduled for February 2, 2018.

Please help my friend get to Cleveland and get the treatment she needs.  Anything you can contribute will help!
