My name is Sherrice, and I am asking for help after Hurricane Lala severely affected me in Mountain View on Hawaiʻi Island. The heavy rain and storm conditions caused food and essential supplies to be lost, and road closures and fallen trees made it difficult to get necessities. What should have been a normal time quickly turned into a very stressful situation, and I am now trying to recover from the financial hardship caused by the storm.
