Help Sheri and Take Heart

On June 26th, “Take Heart” --the little purple shop on the corner that is so near and dear to our hearts, caught fire. Everyone is safe, including the Prayer Tree, but this sweet little shop has been completely destroyed by the fire on the inside. While the structure of the building is going to be alright, Sheri and her team will have to completely redo the interior of the shop.

 

Sheri has been such a blessing to the Blowing Rock community, and now it’s time for us to be there to carry her through this devastating loss. Let’s come together to do whatever it takes to get Sheri back on her feet!

 

Here is a note from Sheri: "I have awakened in the morning light! I am raw and a bit uncertain! But this one thing I know! That I am standing, and though broken, I will take shelter in the shadow of the wings of the Most High! My heart will praise Him and I know the intimacy and presence of my heavenly Father’s love! I am so very grateful for all of you! You ran to me, you found me, held me and blessed me with your love! I know you by heart!”
