<div>My 31-year-old best friend Shenae Craig got diagnosed with breast cancer November 2022, after finding a lump in her left breast. While we are thankful she did not ignore it, we are devastated by the results and still trying to wrap our minds around the entire ordeal.

<div>Yesterday marked her first round of chemotherapy and Shenae will endure at least six months of aggressive chemotherapy treatments, radiation and reconstructive surgery. Due to her young age, Shenae will also be undergoing fertility preservation by having her eggs harvested and frozen. Although some of these treatments will be covered by her health insurance, we are still receiving bills for things that are not and expected to be very costly. I am starting this GoFundMe account to help ease the financial burden Shenae will have to endure. She will not be able to work as much and will have to take as much down time as possible as she receives treatments and also rehabilitates.
