I’ve started this fundraiser to raise money to provide shelter for a Gazan family this winter.

I’ve been in contact with the Isleem family for several months, who have endured unimaginable suffering. After being forcibly evacuated from their home in northern Gaza, they were left homeless and sought refuge in a school near the Rafah border.

The Isleem family—11 members in total—now shelters in a single classroom in a school near the Rafah border. Among them are innocent children like 5-month-old Mahmoud, 7-year-old Tariq, and 5-year-old Jourie, as well as their elderly grandmother.

But the school is no sanctuary. It’s in an ‘unsafe’ zone, constantly under threat of attack. In recent weeks, schools like theirs have been targeted, killing hundreds of innocent people. Their fear grows with every passing day.

The family’s urgent need is to relocate to a tent in a safer area as soon as possible. However, due to high demand and limited resources, the cost of a tent this winter has risen to over $1200.

With your support, we can raise this amount and help ease the family’s fears and struggles during this difficult time.

About the organiser - I’m Sumayah from the UK and I am friends with the family, I’ve been in contact with them for several months now. All the donation, will be transferred to the recipients bank account (Ahmad Isleem, 24) for the sole purpose of purchasing the tent.
