<div>Shelley has spent the past few months in two hospitals and a skilled nursing facility, enduring nine procedures and life-saving surgeries. She was diagnosed with acquired hemophilia, a rare and serious condition that has drastically altered the trajectory of her life. Once fully independent, Shelley now requires maximum to total assistance—she is both bedbound and wheelchair-bound.

<div>Despite her can-do attitude, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Past medical bills are piling up, and her current and future care needs far exceed what insurance will cover.
