<div>On September 13th 2024, our family’s world was turned upside down when we received the devastating news that Shayna had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. It is hard to describe the shock and fear that we were suddenly faced with.

<div>On October 9th 2024, Shayna underwent a craniotomy to remove the tumor. After 8 long hours in the waiting room, we finally received the news we had been praying for—the surgery was successful, and the tumor was removed. Now, Shayna is home and facing the task of a long recovery, and we are praying for her complete healing.

<div>Since her diagnosis, Shayna has been unable to drive or work. The timeline for her return to work is uncertain, and with medical expenses beginning to pile up, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming. The stress of her financial situation is making it very hard for her to dedicate herself solely to recovery.

<div>Shayna is the type of person who never hesitates to help others, but shys away from asking for help herself. That’s why I’m reaching out on her behalf. As a single mother of 2, I am doing everything I can to support her financially, but I can’t do it alone. I am turning to family, friends, and anyone who feels moved to help during this challenging time.
