Some Of Shay’s friends have come together to help set up this page with the hope that after learning Shay’s situation, you might be willing to help Shay shine again.
Shay is an adult who despite her disability, has been doing her best to become independent and learn self reliance. However, she has experienced a serious setback that will require some help to recover from.
Most of Shay’s possessions, including items for basic needs, were stolen or destroyed by Shay’s former roommate. Clothes, shoes, her bed, toiletries, allergy and heart medication, dishes, ect. Sadly even her service dog’s new vests were stolen as well. Shay also lost things that were special to her like collectibles and her pink guitar. Because of her disability, Shay lives on a fixed income, and can not replace everything, particularly the basic needs, very soon.
Shay is embarrassed about needing and asking for help. We believe that there are many good, kind, people in this world, and that we were made to be here for eachother and to build and lift eachother up.
Every little bit helps, and no gift is too small. We are grateful for each and every one of you who donates to help Shay shine again. You are appreciated more than you will ever know. God bless you all!
