<div>Hello my name is Shawna Fontenot and I'm starting this fundraiser for flights from New Orleans to Miami and Miami back to New Orleans a month later. I have a once in  lifetime chance to go to a Mental Health facility called Kinder in the Keys in Key West, Florida. I'm going to start on my healing journey for severe grief due to the suicide death of my daughter Journi Loupe. She took her own life on March 8th 2025 and I'm suffering the worst heartache I've ever felt. I've tried several different things to try to start to heal but nothing has worked. She took me with her when she died. I have no hope, joy or peace just sadness and sorrow. It has completely changed who I am and most days I can barely function. It's been almost five months since her death and instead getting better I'm getting into a darker and darker place. I'm walking this earth with nothing but emptiness

<div>I got a free 30 day scholarship to one of the best facilities in Florida but I have to pay for my plain tickets to get there and back. This is the first time I felt any hopes of maybe I will be able to have a future that will bring me some joy.

<div>Journi suffered a lot when she was alive being chronically ill and I want her to be able to finally rest in peace and not worry about me down here. I want to be able to get strong enough  to be able to celebrate her life and be the best Gigi to her son Oliver. He needs me and so do the rest of my grandbabies and my two daughters. I'm asking for your help so that I can save my life from misery and turn it around so I can be Shawna again. This opportunity I have is slight of a miracle and I'm asking you to please donate.
