My name is Dawn Johnson. I am setting up this GoFund Me for my friend's son, Shane Taylor. He tragically lost his vehicle last week in an unforeseeable incident in West Union, Ohio.

Shane turned 16 last month and was given a 1988 Ford Ranger for his birthday by his parents, in which he was very proud. He spent countless hours working on the truck with his dad. He even managed to help fund some of the parts on his own by working at a local sawmill.

Although Shane realized how incredibly blessed he was that he or his sister were not harmed or injured, it was devastating and heartbreaking for him to watch his vehicle be engulfed in flames, resulting in a total loss.

Shane is a very kind, passionate, hardworking young man who is a good student and is involved in many school and church activities. I've started this page, with the permission of his parents, in order to help raise funds that would help get Shane a replacement vehicle. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
