<div>I never imagined I’d have to write something like this, but our family truly needs help right now. My husband, Shane, needs open-heart surgery to replace a damaged heart valve, due to aortic stenosis. This surgery is critical to his health and future, and while we’re so grateful for the doctors and care team helping him, the financial burden is more than we can manage alone. Even with insurance, our deductible and out-of-pocket costs total $10,000 and that doesn’t include time off work, and recovery expenses.
