<div>My name is Shadow, and I’m a 7-year-old golden retriever. Running at the park is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world. My parents trained me to walk off-leash, so I get to run around the park as I please, chase squirrels, and run away from weird looking birds.

<div>Last weekend, we went to the park and I think I got too excited because I tore my ACL in my back right leg. Since then, I’ve been hopping around on three legs and I haven’t been on any walks. I saw two nice guys in white coats, and they both said I need something called surgery to fix this. Sounds fancy, but it’s also really expensive.

<div>That’s why I’m here hoping my friends and family can help my parents cover the cost so I can get back to doing what I love most. Even a small donation helps a ton, and if you think about it in dog math, even half of a treat is still a treat! And if you can’t donate, sharing my story means just as much.
