How many times have you wished there was adequate shade at the ballpark?
That's what we thought... A LOT!!
Players and spectators alike need relief from the sun during gameplay at OVBL, and we are gearing up to bring it to you for the 2023 Spring Season, and every season thereafter!
Where will the shade be provided?
The shade installations will be primarily for players and fans using the upper field.
The work order includes:
- 20' Shade over the home bleachers
- 50' Shade over bleachers and picnic tables on the visitor's side
- Replacement shade cloth over the visitor dugout
Where do you come in?
Funding large projects like these fall outside of the annual budget, requiring donations, and community support. A quality shade structure comes with a hefty price, but together, all of our small contributions will add up to cover it, pun intended.
When will the work be done?
The measurements have been taken, and the estimate is in. As soon as funding is secured, work will begin and the project is expected to be complete within one work week.
