Seth got very sick in November 2023, was in pain all of the time and started dropping weight for no reason. We weren't sure he was going to make it to Christmas.
He has been to countless doctors all over the state and has had numerous tests, procedures and labs run. The doctor's call him a "medical mystery" and many have said there is nothing more they can do for him.
Seth lives with daily severe pain, he is malnourished, and his body is rejecting nutrients from food (that is what the doctors do know.). He lives with daily weakness and pain with exhaustion, nausea and lightheadedness. He had to quit working his other job 1.5 years ago, but God is good! Seth is still continuing to serve and preach faithfully, it's been a testimony to God's faithfulness and grace to see Seth preach the word every Sunday! He loves his family well and he loves God’s church well!
2 doctors have recommended Seth get stem-cell infusions. I have had them in the past and am witness to how they have changed my fight against Lupus. I believe stem-cells can help Seth where modern medicine is failing. Because no one knows Seth’s illness, they cannot get him the medication he needs and many times what they have tried has made things much worse for Seth.
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover stem-cells, nor is it covering many of Seth's tests and procedures. Because of this, we are looking to raise $10,000 to get him 2cc's of infusions ($6500+ tax) and to help cover the cost of travel (as the nearest location for this specific infusion is in Georgia or we will go to Texas). Any remaining funds will go to medical debt and care.
I was working, but my job came to an end and the Lord has called me to focus on finishing my degrees and starting my ministry. Because we desire to follow the Lord in obedience, we are trusting that He will provide a way to get Seth what he needs without me working. We thank each of you who have already been supporting our family in this season, thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus in this time!
Because we cannot just ask for money and not give back, (it doesn’t feel right), everyone who donates will receive a personal handmade card with a Scripture and encouragement, one that Seth and I will both pray over and write specifically for each person. I know it's not a lot for what so many are doing for us, but the greatest tool we have is the power of prayer and the Lord's faithfulness and we want to share what we have with you.
