Many people are fighting battles the world cannot see.
 
Some are living with illnesses, disabilities, chronic pain, trauma, or conditions that leave no visible mark. They often spend as much energy trying to convince others they are struggling as they do managing the struggle itself.
 
I know this because I am one of them.
 
The truth is, not every illness is obvious. Not every disability is visible. And not every person who is smiling is okay.
 
For much of my life, I worked hard, built a career, raised my daughter, and pushed through challenges that most people never knew existed. I believed that if I worked hard enough, I could overcome anything.
 
But over time, my health continued to decline.
 
In 2025, I lost my job because a combination of serious health conditions made it impossible for me to continue working. Since then, I have exhausted my savings, lost my home, and found myself navigating a reality I never imagined.
 
My days are now filled with medical appointments, specialists, testing, treatments, disability paperwork, insurance battles, and the daily challenge of managing symptoms that affect nearly every aspect of my life.
 
Some of these conditions are visible. Many are not.
 
Like so many others living with invisible illnesses and disabilities, one of the hardest parts of this journey has been feeling unseen and misunderstood. There are days when I may appear fine on the outside while fighting battles that most people never see.
 
Life knocked me down.
 
Not once. Not twice. More times than I can count.
 
Getting back up became my greatest lesson.
 
Today, I am waiting for a disability decision while doing everything I can to rebuild my life. The financial strain has become overwhelming. Basic living expenses, medical costs, transportation, insurance issues, and everyday necessities continue to pile up while I have no reliable income.
 
I am asking for help because I can no longer do this alone.
 
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help provide stability while I continue pursuing medical care and work toward rebuilding my future. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
 
I have spent much of my life helping others. Asking for help does not come naturally to me, but I have learned that strength is not just found in standing on your own. Sometimes strength is found in allowing others to stand beside you.
