Help send Vivian to Taiwan!

Dear Friends and Family,

My daughter, Vivian Celeste, has been studying Mandarin since she was in the third grade, and it’s been her dream to travel to China. Vivian is now a Junior at Berkeley High School, and her Mandarin teacher has scheduled a trip to Taiwan this spring! The program at Berkeley High is magnificent. Her teacher is an amazing woman who works tirelessly at setting up opportunities for her students to travel to China and operate as student ambassadors.  It is one of Vivian’s most challenging classes and she loves it.

People who study languages know that the immersion process is instrumental in mastering a language. Being constantly surrounded by the spoken language she is studying will strengthen Vivian’s skills with Mandarin and will serve as a positive reinforcement.

Vivian has worked very hard to earn this travel experience. She is an excellent student, daughter and big sister. Please help me make this happen for my kid. Any amount helps.
