Help Send the CCSC Summer Mission Support Teams

This summer, thirteen members of Christ Central of Southern California (CCSC) will be sent to Paraguay and Cambodia to support the ministries of our long-term missionary partners. We will be going to help out with various tasks to be servants to the career missionaries, the local church, and the local community. (For more details on what the respective teams will be doing, scroll down to find the descriptions under the team specific pictures!)

We're excited for these upcoming opportunities but also recognize we do not go alone! We covet your prayers and support as those who are part of one universal church. It's our privilege to do this together and we would love to keep you updated on the work that is happening abroad. Thank you all and may Christ be glorified in all that we do!

The Cambodia team will be working with Mission to the World (MTW) missionaries in both the context of Village ministry (Angkjeay) and City ministry (Phnom Penh). They will be leading a few seminars and workshops to high schoolers and college students on important topics such as romantic relationships, and social media and phone use as believers in Christ. They will also help teach guitar lessons, english lessons, and Bible studies!

The Paraguay team will be working with a private Christian school that is linked to Marangatu church in the city of Villa Elisa. During their time there, they will be helping teach English, lead seminars and teachings, share their testimonies of coming to faith and their love for Christ. They will also help with a ministry that serves an underprivileged community in the Ytororo area. There they will help with two local Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) and invite those in the local neighborhood to them. They will also help with building construction and maintenance, as well as provide services to help cut hair and wash feet!
