Hello everyone. My name is Shenika and on Sunday, Dec,10th, my six-week old nephew (Ayden) took his last breath. The cause of death is suspected to be Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Ayden’s mother is my little sister, Jessica. Jessica had brain surgery earlier this year before finding out she was pregnant. It was suggested that she abort to focus on recovering from the brain aneurysm, but Jessica would not hear of it. Ayden was her miracle baby. She couldn’t work while she was fighting to recover from the surgery. Jessica beat the odds of losing her life to that brain aneurysm, and she lovingly carried Ayden almost to full term. She delivered Ayden through a C-Section. She was recovering, and Ayden was growing every day.
Sadly, Jessica went to wake Ayden up Sunday morning, and he was gone. Unbelievably gone. She fought through the pregnancy, and sadly six weeks later, she must plan his funeral.
Jessica has had a tough year, and she needs help to do the unthinkable…bury her beautiful baby boy. If you see fit to help my sister defray the cost, please take a few minutes to donate.
