My sister, Michelle, has been diagnosed with an incurable, heartbreaking disease, ALS. I ask first, and foremost, that you keep her, and our entire family in your prayers as we begin this journey. There is no one that deserves an illness such as this, and least of all someone who is as loving, kind and faith- filled as she is.
Michelle and Dan have been married almost 38 years, have four beautiful daughters who are married and have blessed them with nine amazing grandchildren (three, of which, were just born last year!)
With this diagnosis, came a huge outpouring of love, as well as many words of support and encouragement, which has helped Dan, Michelle and her family get through the initial first week after diagnosis.
Michelle has decided that, with God's Grace and help, she is going to live each day to the fullest, and to spend time making memories with those she loves the most.
One of the dreams that Michelle has had for years, is to go to the Holy Land and to walk where Jesus walked. What better time than now to begin planning such a magnificent trip!
Because Michelle has always given so much to everyone she encounters, here is a way that we can all come together and to help give back. Let's show Michelle how much she is loved by sending her and Dan to Israel!
