Help Send Joey to Junior Worlds

Hi everyone! My name is Joey Kennedy. I am a senior at Neuqua Valley High school in Naperville, IL.

I fell in love with ultimate frisbee five years ago when I started to play in middle school. Over my years of playing, my teammates and I have always talked and dreamed about one day playing on the Worlds Team. This year, I was selected to try out for the team, and I am thrilled and honored to announce that I have earned a spot to compete on the U20 (Under 20 years old) National Men's Ultimate Frisbee Team with 23 other athletes from across the United States. We will be representing our country this August in Waterloo, Canada at the World Junior Ultimate Championships. 

I cannot put into words how grateful I am to now be a member of this team. I am beyond thankful for my mom, my family, friends, coaches, teammates, my girlfriend, and many others for helping me get to where I am today.

It is an honor to have earned a spot on this roster, but there is a financial responsibility that comes with being on the team, as well. During the summer, I will be working multiple jobs in attempt to help finance this event. If anyone reading this is willing and able to donate, donations of any size would be amazing!
