It is with deep sadness that we share the sudden passing of Jasbir Kumar Thakur, a loving husband and father, who tragically died of a heart attack on July 2. Jasbir came to Canada in April on a work permit, full of hopes and dreams to provide a better life for his family. He was the sole breadwinner for his wife and two young children, who are now left in a state of shock and financial distress.

We are reaching out to you, our compassionate community, to help us raise funds to cover the costs of sending Jasbir’s body back to his home country, India, for his final rites. Additionally, we aim to support his grieving family during this incredibly challenging time by covering funeral expenses and providing some financial relief as they navigate this unforeseen tragedy.
