Roy & Ivan's Dream Basketball Camp!

My son Roy and his best friend Ivan's biggest dream is to attend the Michael Jordan Flight School in Santa Barbara. The boys have already been accepted to this year's camp but the program is very expensive; it's $795.00 per child, plus hotel stay (it's not a sleepaway camp, so they can't attend by themselves and need to be accompanied by an adult), food and gas.
Attending this camp is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the boys and this is the last year they'll be eligible to attend as the program does not accept students out of high school, and Roy and Ivan are both going to be seniors this coming fall. Roy and Ivan take basketball very seriously and work very hard at it. They're hardworking, deserving boys in general. They do well in school, have perfect attendance, and they even both get up at 4am every Sunday to go to work with my husband. The boys have played for Corcoran High School's Varsity team in the past and will definitely plan to do the same this coming fall. However, they unfortunately missed out on playing together all last season as my son's foot was broken in practice very early on in the season. The injury forced him to miss the entire season of his junior year. He has worked hard to regain strength and both boys focus all of their energy on succeeding at the sport. They practice everyday and play in any league available to them. Attending this camp and having the opportunity to learn from and play with Michael Jordan himself would mean the world to them.
