Help Bill go to EAMA in Paris!!

I previously posted that I was selected to be a part of the International Music Festival of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy, but I was recently notified that I was accepted to the European American Music Alliance Nadia Boulanger Institute that will be held in July in Paris, France. After careful number crunching and deliberation with my wife, and helpful advice from my professors, I have decided to attend the EAMA Nadia Boulanger Institute rather than the Int. Music Festival. This is a huge step forward for my personal development, education, and career. This will be an amazing educational experience to learn from some of the best composition professors in the world. The faculty come from The Juilliard School, Paris Conservatory, and many other great institutions, and many of their previous participants have gone on to be awarded substantial awards, fellowships, and positions at prestigious universitites around the country.   

As well as being accepted to this amazing program, I was given a scholarship of nearly $2,000 that will be applied to my tuition cost. I also received an assistantship to work with one of the professors for 4 hours a week. We will also be staying at the famous Schola Cantorum in the Latin Quarter of Paris, and a 15 subway ride to the Eiffel Tower.


The money from this fundraiser will go directly to offestting the costs of the institution including air/train tickets, tuition, lodging, and meals. There is a structured payment plan that will require payments being made in May. Anything collected will be put towards these payments.
