Hi friends and family! This year, I took a big step and created my first short film. I was blessed with the best crew, both behind and in front of the camera, to bring this vision to life. The film shines a light on a woman surviving sexual trauma, overcoming the mental and emotional obstacles, and finding the strength to find her voice again. This is based on real events in my life, and a story that, unfortunately, many people could relate to.

My purpose in creating this film is to help those who are struggling feel less alone in their experience, and to hopefully inspire them to seek healing and a way forward for themselves. My hope with this fundraiser is to be able to spread this message globally by entering film festivals around the world. And by doing so, we would be able to have Q&A discussions to open conversations on how we can heal as a society. Every single talented artist that contributed to this project did it from a place of love for their craft and for humanity. I was very blessed to have a team like them believe in the vision, and everyone's work deserves to be seen as much as it can be.

We are aiming for $2,000 to cover all of the festivals that we would like to enter, and anything above and beyond that would cover travel for one of the crew to be present at the ones we get accepted into. Thank you to everyone who donates or shares this. Every single cent matters, and I cannot do this without a village.
