Help Selvin With Medical Bills After Hit and Run

Our friend and loving father and husband Selvin was riding his motorcycle in October when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver who crashed into Selvin from behind. The driver fled and was not caught.

Selvin was wearing a helmet but still needed brain surgery and broke many bones in his back and other parts of his body. He was hospitalized for more than one month and is now in a wheelchair.

Doctors say due to spinal injury, Selvin might be paralyzed for life. Selvin says, "It has been the worst nine months of my life."

Selvin owes more than $85,000 in bills for hospital expenses, medicines and catheters. He does not have insurance and was not able to make claims against the driver since it was a hit-and-run.

Please help our friend Selvin, who must pay his medical bills and is out of work as an electrician due to his injuries and paralysis. He is a wonderful father to his 9-year-old son, Daniel Joseph, and a loving husband to his wife, Erika Carolina. We don't know when Selvin can work again, and he and his family need our support.
