Friends and Family,

It humbles me to write this. As many of you know, for the past five years, I have been diagnosed with Valley Fever. In 2014, I've been functioning with 3/4 of a lung and unable to work since. I'm currently in the process of applying for disability and I'm still approximately 1 year away from being approved. In the meantime, I am on a temporary government grant to make ends meet. This all being said, I've had to get creative when it comes to paying for things (i.e., food, shelter, etc.).

I'm currently looking at motorhomes or motor coaches as a means of permanent housing and found one for $6000 that would satisfy this need. Not only would it allow me consistent housing, a place to eat, sleep, it would also afford me a jumping-off point for helping other men recover from addiction. As many of you know, my passion is taking other men through the steps of AA. I could take couch commitments and that sort of thing.

I ask you for your humble support in my effort. Any assistance is greatly appreciated and I will not take this opportunity for granted. The Valley Fever has taken my left lung and now has entered my right lung and continues to grow. We're doing everything we can to slow the process. In the meantime, I want to help as many as I can, and when my time comes, it would be nice to have a place to die in peace and not around strangers. Unfortunately, I cannot work to make that happen. It was suggested I reach out.
