<div><strong>URGENT: Help Secure a Permanent Home for Abu Bakr Masjid &amp; Quran School</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:</em>
</div>
<div><em>"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, seeking the Pleasure of Allah, Allah will build for him a similar house in Paradise."</em>
</div>
<div><em>— Sahih al-Bukhari</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>For over 16 years</strong>, Abu Bakr Masjid has been a cornerstone of the Muslim community in Calgary. Formerly known as the Abu Bakr Dawah Centre, it was among the first masajid in the city dedicated to supporting and sponsoring dawah initiatives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To this day, it continues to provide accommodation, resources, and support for those engaged in spreading Islamic knowledge and serving the community.
</div>
<div>Abu Bakr Masjid has always been more than a place of prayer—it is a home. Its doors remain open for worshippers seeking a place to pray, rest, find food, receive guidance, or seek support during difficult times.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The masjid serves the community through:</strong>
</div>
<div>-Jumu'ah prayers
</div>
<div>-Five daily prayers
</div>
<div>-Ramadan Taraweeh prayers
</div>
<div>-Community Iftars and Suhoors
</div>
<div>-Educational programs and dawah activities
</div>
<div>-Support services for families and individuals in need
</div>
<div>-Home to One of Calgary's Largest Quran Schools
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For years, the school has taught children as young as four years old Quran Sciences, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By the grace of Allah, the school has produced <strong>at least 19 Huffadh</strong> (memorizers of the Quran) and continues to support both youth and adult students pursuing advanced Islamic studies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our Urgent Challenge</strong>
</div>
<div>Over the past two years, we have already been forced to relocate once due to circumstances beyond our control.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, we face another major challenge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our current landlord requires the property back, and we must vacate the premises. Without a permanent home, the future of the masjid, the Quran school, and the services relied upon by hundreds of community members remains uncertain. Rather than continue moving from location to location, we have been given a rare opportunity to purchase a permanent property that will secure the future of Abu Bakr Masjid and the school for generations to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Opportunity</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>We have identified a suitable property in our community (approximately 12,000 Sq Ft), with a purchase price of $2.2 million.</strong>
</div>
<div>To secure this property, we must raise a $500,000 deposit by the end of June 2026.
</div>
<div>Reaching this goal will allow us to move forward with the purchase process and significantly reduce our dependence on costly financing arrangements.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why Your Donation Matters</strong>
</div>
<div>Imagine the reward of every:
</div>
<div>-Prayer performed in this masjid
</div>
<div>-Child who learns to recite and memorizes the Book of Allah
</div>
<div>-Iftar served during Ramadan
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All of these rewards can continue for generations through your contribution.
</div>
<div>This is a unique opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah—a continuous charity whose rewards continue long after we have left this world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."</em>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>"صحيح "
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<ul>
<li>صلاة الجمعة
</li>
</li>
</li>
</li>
</li>
</li>
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>تحدّينا العاجل
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>الفرصة
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<ul>
</li>
</li>
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>قال رسول الله صلّى اللهُ عليه وسلم: {إذا مات الإنسان انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية، او علم ينتفع به، او ولد صالح يدعو له}
