It’s a girl!

For those friends of mine who I haven’t seen in a while, I’m having a baby girl. Due late March.

I’m 4 1/2 months along, so halfway there already. Unfortunately, I’m doing this on my own, so we’ll see what I’m really made of…

I think the universe said, you know, you’re 35, and since you can’t seem to figure out the husband thing, and we think you need to have at least one child in this life, ready or not, here she comes.

But I’m not ready at all you guys. Emotionally, yes. Most of you know that I came into this world mothering, and that having a family of my own has been my north star in this life. But with no man, very low income as my company has really been struggling lately, and no home… I’m drowning.

No home? You may wonder what happened to the apartment I built when I was dealing with cancer and such: well, nothing at this moment, but with my father’s recent Parkinson’s diagnosis and them being unable to sell the rental house on Camano in this market, they are in such a dire situation that they have to list their home here. A heartbreaking decision all on its own as they built this home with plans to age-in-place here. It goes on the market in January. And hopefully, will be an easier sell.

By January, I will be huge, and with my health issues and the subsequent issue with baby girl’s placenta, likely on bed rest. So I very much need to have found a nest and moved already by then.

So I’m reaching out to all my people, to see if you can pitch in towards the first/last/damage deposits it’s going to take to get me and baby girl into a home. ✨✨ and Gramma! It has been a bright light in all this darkness that Gram is going to come with me to help care for me and the baby through all the medical stuff, and… just life, with an infant.
