Hi, I’m Jordan. My dad was sent to the ICU for emergency surgery, he’s been in critical condition for the better part of a week. An ulcer perforated his stomach causing a hole that leaked air and fluid between his stomach and intestines. I’ve been told his chances of survival are quite low. That being said he’s making progress everyday. I believe with all my heart he will be able to come home. However, his home has suffered busted water lines and a broken furnace. The floors are so old they feel as if you will fall through walking on it. I’m very concerned about sending him back here after such a serious condition, but there’s nowhere else I can take him and our hands have been tied on resources.
