<div>My name is Sean Grafton, I am a medically retired U.S. Army Combat Medic. I was medically retired after 7 years of active duty due to multiple cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal injuries. I am asking for assistance in the form of donations to put towards an advanced medical procedure at the Cellular Performance Institute (CPI). They provide the most advanced and comprehensive stem cell therapy treatments in the world today. I am hoping to participate in their clinical trial for FDA approval in the United States. I am asking for your donation to put towards the $40,000 spinal treatment protocol, because I believe this opportunity can help me reclaim my health, my independence, and the quality of life I have lost. I also applied for a medical scholarship thru the Miracle Hope Foundation to help cover half of the procedure, but I still need help with the rest... unfortunately, Insurance will not cover this treatment.

<div>Background and Military Service

<div>Before serving, I worked as a residential remodeling contractor in Georgetown, Texas for 15+ years. However, after the 2008 financial collapse, I needed to provide for my family and made the life-changing decision to enlist in the U.S. Army at the age of 35. In 2009, I trained as a Combat Medic, dedicating myself to saving lives on the battlefield.

<div>During my seven years of service, I carried not only the responsibility of protecting others, but during my deployment to Afghanistan (2010-2011) I also carried the immense physical burden of wearing more than 100 pounds of gear, body armor, and lifesaving supplies (Aid Bag) on patrols lasting up to 12 hours per day. This  physical toll left me with multiple herniated discs, pinched nerves, traumatic arthritis and degenerative disc disease that led to spinal surgery and eventually my medical retirement on Sept 11, 2015.

<div>Transitioning back to civilian life was difficult. Despite my determination to work, my injuries left me dependent on pain medication and unable to sustain employment. By 2020, the pain became too great, and I was forced to leave the workforce entirely.

<div>Since then, my physical limitations have affected every part of my life. Once proud of my work, my home, and my independence, I now spend most days on the couch or in bed. My home and yard, which I once cared for with pride, have fallen into disrepair, mirroring the toll pain has taken on my life... Then I found HOPE for a new life with Stem Cells!
