Help Sean get to Rehab

My 19-year-old son has been diagnosed with a Schizoaffective disorder and PTSD. He has been homeless and on drugs since he was 16. We have tried so many times to help him and have been met with dead end after dead end. Either he wasn't willing or the programs would not accept insurance and we refused to put him on welfare just to get treatment.  

A few weeks ago he ended up in the hospital. He says it was because he ran into a pole, but we feel like it was because he got beat up. Either case, he confided in us that he was really ready to change but that he couldn't do it on his own so he asks us for help and has been struggling to stay drug-free for the past few weeks.

That apparently hurts him from a treatment standpoint more than it helps. So he is refused treatment because he is trying?!?!? How is that fair. As we scratched our heads and continued to look for answers we were just about out of options besides putting him on MediCal and telling him to get high so we could get him the treatment he needed.(REDICULOUS, but seemingly our only option)

Our prayers have finally been answered and we have found a program that will treat Sean's mental illness and his drug addiction. The program is in Utah and we are in Sacramento. We need to get him there asap. Your help will buy him a backpack full of the basics he needs (Clean clothes, toiletries etc.) It will also buy a plane ticket so I can get him there asap and our Copay is $700 to get him into the program. 

So.. if you can help us at all. Anything. $5. We are hoping that we can get enough money to get him there and in the program.

I love my son so much and the thought of him getting the treatment he needs and having the opportunity of a real life is just within arms reach.
