<div>Sean is a 41 year old Houstonian who happens to be the victim of a traumatic brain injury. As a result of his brain injury, Sean has lost a lot of mobility. Fortunately, he was able to get an wheel chair that was designed specifically for his height and weight and painful bed sore. He’s 6’4 and 225 pounds…This wheel chair has given him more freedom and has allowed his care takers the opportunity to better assist/support Sean.<br /><br />Shockingly, on December 7th, an unknown person entered the home where Sean resides and removed Sean from his wheel chair. He carefully placed Sean into a recliner chair and said “Thank you for your wheelchair,” and left with Sean’s wheelchair.<br /><br />The police have since been called and an officer shared that there have been reports of individuals around the Houston area in which people are removing people from their wheelchairs and stealing their wheelchairs to sell their parts.<br /><br />As a result of this selfishness, Sean is now incapable of moving around with or without assistance. Again, he is 6’4 and 225 lbs which makes it hard, to move him from one place to the next.<br /><br />Right now the goal is to gain $3000 toward a new wheel chair, as soon as possible so that Sean may have mobility sooner than later. We are hopeful that this act of selfishness has not ruined Sean’s Christmas holiday plans with his family and friends.<br /><br /><br />We thank you in advance for any contribution and wish you a happy holiday season!<br /><br />
