Help Scott Ellis beat cancer bills

As some of you may have heard, on 10/16/2017 our drummer, friend, and family member, Scott Ellis was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins B Cell Follicular Lymphoma. When caught on time it is a treatable form of cancer, so in Dec 2017 he began treatment at Cedar Sinai’s Tower Oncology and Medical Group for 6 months of chemotherapy treatment.

So far treatment has gone extremely well and the results are very promising.

While the outpouring of love, compassion, well-wishes, prayers and positive thoughts have been extremely helpful, much appreciated and a source of comfort, due to the financial implications of such a diagnosis and treatment, we have come to you for a little help.

While Scott is fortunate enough to have insurance, he remains responsible for some out-of-pocket costs. (Each chemotherapy session is about $40k and PET/CT scans cost about $87k, and though he’s only paying a portion of that, as you can imagine, it adds up quickly).

If you know Scott, then you know he is not the type to ask for help, so as his friends and family, we are asking for him.

Let’s help him walk away from this cancer and worry free.
