My name is Shaun, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a financial crisis that I can’t overcome alone. Recently, a debt collector performed a bank garnishment, which left my account severely overdrawn. On top of that, I’m in much deeper debt than this, with the same law firm holding an even larger warrant-in-debt that could result in another garnishment at any time. Most of my debt is from credit cards, with some medical debt as well, and it has become overwhelming to manage on my own.

The funds raised here will go directly toward paying off the debt that caused my account to be overdrawn and help prevent further garnishments. Your support will also help me cover essential bills and daily expenses while I work to get back on my feet. I’m doing everything I can to avoid filing for chapter 13 bankruptcy, as this would make it even harder for me to secure housing—especially if my job requires me to move closer to the office. Having bad credit is already a challenge, but a bankruptcy would make things ten times harder. I want to be clear that I’m committed to making real changes, and I plan to attend a financial counseling class to get my finances back on track and avoid repeating these mistakes.

I know I’ve asked for help before, and I’m incredibly embarrassed to do so again. Normally, I wouldn’t reach out, but this is a situation I can’t resolve on my own. If you’re able to donate, share, or even just offer words of encouragement, it would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give.
