Hi San Diego Community,
This is Craig, the co-owner of Rockin Jump in San Diego asking for your help. Me, along with Casey, the other co-owner find ourselves in an uncomfortable and unenviable situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent forced closure. Casey, a disabled war veteran and Craig, also a veteran, have invested everything into this business. We are now unfortunately at-risk of not only losing our business, we are at-risk of losing our homes too which are collateral for our bank loans to the business. Throughout this pandemic we've had to go deeper into debt to stay in business. (Even government assistance, while appreciated, is just additional debt).
Our bills, specifically rent, insurance and other operational expenses have continued to accumulate over the last 9 months since we were originally forced to close. While we did open twice during the pandemic and again forced to close, we never regained the momentum needed to reach our financial goals to repay our landlord. We're now indebted to them alone for over $300,000. We will use all the funds raised from this site to go directly into repaying debt incurred by the pandemic closures. And by staying in business, San Diego will keep her favorite trampoline park.
Rockin' Jump has always been dedicated to giving back to the community and we will continue to do so once we reopen. Many of you have benefited from our generosity and we now need your help. If you have been one of our guests, or we've hosted a party or event for you, you know how dedicated we are to ensuring that you are well taken care of and your family has an amazing time. We love hosting your fund raisers, giving packages for fund-raisers and simply love providing a place for you and your children to have some fun.
We're embarrassed to be in this position and sincerely appreciate anything you can do to help. When we are finally able to reopen, we will host a family-day party with you invited as family. Thank you so much for your generosity during this horrible time.
