<div>Together, these two kind-hearted men have made it their mission to give elderly and unwanted dogs the love, care, and dignity they deserve. They take in senior dogs—often those that no one else wants—and provide them with a peaceful, loving home for as long as they have left. No premature goodbyes, no convenience-based choices—just compassion, patience, and a deep respect for life.

<div>Recently, their beloved dog Weavil was rushed to the hospital after suddenly becoming unable to walk. Despite the vets’ best efforts and days of intensive care, Weavil passed away. He had suffered a spinal stroke and was suspected to be battling pneumonia or a lung-related stroke. His condition was grave, but he fought with everything he had—just as his dads fought for him.

<div>In trying to save him, these two men did what they always do—lead with love, never give up, and put the wellbeing of their animals first. That meant costly emergency care and hospitalization, which quickly climbed to nearly $17,000.

<div>Now, we want to rally around them—not just to help cover Weavil’s medical expenses, but to honor his life and support the beautiful mission his dads live every single day.

<div>One of them is currently in law school, working toward a second career in animal law, so he can continue advocating for animals like Weavil. Both are vegan and live their values with integrity and heart. Their lives are rooted in empathy and advocacy.
