Help save Wall-2-Wall Tap Dance Center

Hi everyone! My business, Wall-2-Wall Tap Dance Center is an all adult, all tap dance studio. Many of our students are retirees who take classes for fun, exercise, and the social connection that comes with taking group classes. Like many small local businesses, Wall-2-Wall Tap Dance Center has taken a huge hit financially due to COVID-19. We have been offering virtual classes, but it is not enough to sustain the business. As a business that serves a demographic that is at high risk for complications and death from this virus, we are being very cautious in our plans to reopen. The recent uptick in Covid-19 cases shows what can happen when businesses open too soon or don’t take the proper precautions. We are determined, however, to keep going so that we can resume offering the quality in-person tap dance classes our customers are used to receiving once this crisis is over. Our monthly overhead to remain in business is about $3500. This includes rent, utilities, and insurance. Since switching to a virtual format, our average monthly revenue has been less then $1500.  We have always tried to keep a rainy day fund that will carry us through a 2-3 month downturn, but that fund is now depleted. I now need to ask for help in order to keep my business going.
