An open letter to the global community
Vani Drodrovakawai is a 36 year old single mum with a beautiful boy. She has been recently diagnosed with with Leukemia and has been given only few months to live if treatment isn't achieved soon.
The doctors in Fiji do not have the ability to treat her here.
She has, however, been given a chance of life if we can raise enough funds to get her to India; Dehli to be precise. The cost of treatment there is US$30,000.00. This does not include the cost of accomodation and airfares for her and her Mum, Kini.
We are therefore asking the global community to reach deep into their hearts and give what they can to achieve this goal.
We are aiming for FJ$106,000.00
Over the past 2 months we have raised over FJ$65,000 and have many more fundraising functions in the pipeline.
If Vani is unsuccessful in her bid for life, any money left over will be donated to the Fiji Cancer Council.
Any amount that you can spare, however small or seemingly insignificant, will be very greatly appreciated.
