Help save Valentine our Boxer

On Monday we noticed that our 5 year old boxer Valentines right eye was full of blood. We quickly contacted our vet and sent photos over and they told us to take her to the ER. We took her in and the vet at the emergency told us we would need to see a specialist. On Tuesday morning we went to an eye specialist for dogs and they checked her and were shocked to see that her left eye was starting to fill with blood. They ran full blood work and found that she had no platelets. They sent us over to the Southern California Veterinary Specialist in Irvine and said the doctors there were expecting us. We took her over and they immediately admitted her. They told us shes going to need to stay in the hospital for several days and be treated with a steroids that would suppress her immune system. They said she has an auto immune disease called IMT. Basically her body is attacking her platelets that will cause her blood not to clot. They said it would take up to three days to see if her platelets would build back up with the necessary treatments. As of now her blood levels have dropped and we were told she’s in need of a blood transfusion. Valentine is a very special dog and we would appreciate any help that’s given.
