<div>Since 2012 Kanahau has worked to protect the unique wildlife and habitats of Utila, Honduras. As a local conservation NGO, we manage protected areas, provide environmental education, conduct vital wildlife research, and inspire the next generation of Honduran conservationists.

<div>Today, our work is at risk.

<div>Unlike many organizations, Kanahau receives no government funding. Every conservation project, educational program, wildlife survey, and day that our museum remains open is made possible entirely through donations, grants, and ecotourism.
