Help save Tyrion the Corgi!

On January 11, 2018, we found out that our beloved corgi pup Tyrion has a life-threatening pancreas disease called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI). His pancreas is no longer producing digestive enzymes, and his body is slowly starving to death no matter how much we feed him, due to malabsorption. He has lost nearly half his body weight in the last 3 months (30 lbs down to 16.2 lbs as of Jan. 14th), and would have died if we didn’t take him to a specialist. Despite having some money set aside for his care, we have surpassed that amount of savings and are unable to afford the unexpected influx of veterinary costs and medications. The treatment of EPI requires lifelong supplementation of pancreatic enzymes. Please consider donating to our fur baby, even $1 would help us provide him with the treatment he will need for the rest of his life. Anyone who knows me, knows that this dog is like my child and I can’t just let him suffer.. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

*UPDATE 1/20/18:  Tyrion’s Mom here with an update.. we had a very ruff night and ended up at the emergency vet. I came home from work and Tyrion was unable to walk or move, he was having a VERY hard time breathing, wouldn’t eat, his belly was hard and distended and he was vomiting. I was terrified for him. We took him to get checked out and after doing blood work & x rays, the vet said he likely aspirated some vomit and the fluids ended up in his lungs causing him to have pneumonia I have no idea how or why this happened and I’m very heartbroken about it. I am hoping the belly issues aren’t due to pancreas inflammation, but if it doesn’t clear up we will need to do an ultrasound. The good news is that his blood work came back normal, his weight is still decent today at 20.8 lbs and he was able to walk this morning, eat his breakfast without vomiting and I gave him all of his meds. I was going to end his gofundme, but we racked up another huge vet bill last night and will likely have to bring him back for more X-rays if his lungs to make sure the fluid is clearing up. I have updated our goal to reflect the unexpected increase in current and future predicted costs. Please please share our page and consider donating if you haven’t already . Thank you all so much for your continued support through out this nightmare.. we are hoping to get past it soon
