Help Save Tortured Pig Polly

Polly is a 12 year old pig at Djanbung Gardens permaculture farm on the northern rivers , who was tortured sexually, mentally and physcially by two men. They also killed 7 valuable heritage chickens in a brutal, savage manner. The men have been arrested and are being held in police custody.
Polly is suffering from internal and external injuries that need vetenarian attention. She was raped with foreign object, beaten, bruised and severely traumatised. The vet bills to cater to her injuries are costly.
Djanbung Gardens is a permaculture college and demonstration farm founded by permaculture pioneer, Robyn Francis. The college (PCA) is a non profit self funding organisation, they receive no government funding and depend on volunteer support to keep the gardens open to the public. PCA offers community education and professional development training in permaculture, sustainable landuse and community development.
Polly is suffering from severe trauma, and the brutality of this incident has shocked and affected the whole community.
We ask if you can donate even a little for Polly to start her recovery and become the happy pig she once was before this traumatic assault. Her injuries have already necessitated several visits and treatment by the vet. The gardens lost half of its flock of heritage chickens, which need to be replaced. There will also be costs to install security measures on the farm plus repairs and improvements to the animal housing at Djanbung Gardens.
