Help Save the Mother Bailey House

Mother Bailey is a well-known local heroine of the American Revolution and the War of 1812. Her house - the first post office of Groton, CT, and the site of a popular 18th and 19th century tavern - has fallen into disrepair, with some desperately-needed renovation. Help the Mother Bailey House Foundation raise the $$ to keep the house from private sale or even possible demolition. Let's turn it into the cornerstone of the Historic Groton Bank - part of the Thames River Heritage Park in Southeastern CT, a wonderful vacation destination for arts, culture, and history.
