Help Save The Lives Of My Family In Gaza

Hello.

My name is Ahmed Alshawish. I am a Palestinian from Gaza.

The situation my family is facing has compelled me to take a step I hesitated to make for some time. Exhausting all other avenues, I now turn to this platform and humbly ask for your help.

Gaza is grappling with the devastating impact of an intense war, claiming the lives of more than 16,000 Palestinians, with a particularly heart-wrenching toll of 6,000 innocent children. Among the 2.2 million individuals ensnared in the grips of this harrowing crisis, my immediate family faces dire circumstances, lacking basic necessities such as food, water, electricity, and medicine.

My family has miraculously evaded death on three occasions. Yet, despite our resilience, we were met with the devastating news that our cherished family home—a sanctuary and a labor of love—was directly targeted by artillery shells, leaving it entirely consumed by flames. They moved more than eleven times from home to apartment, to school , to hospital to tent. From the south of Gaza to the north, to Dair Al Balah, to Khan Younes , to Rafah.

I I have 7 beloved individuals in my immediate family: my father, mother, brother with four sisters. I am now on a mission to find a temporary safe place for them to flee to. However, all possible routes come at a cost that I can't afford.

Bombing and destruction are everywhere. Life has become almost impossible, and moving around with a large number puts my family in danger every minute and second. You can imagine the suffering of young children before adults, the suffering that my family goes through every day searching for water, food, and medicine. Everything has become difficult. There was a report by the United Nations talking about the lack of life in Gaza in 2020 due to the lack of natural resources! So, imagine the situation now in Gaza in light of this ongoing war day and night.

Thats why I am reaching out to you for support to help me contribute in whatever way I can to save the lives of these innocent children and my family from the horrors of war. Any donation, even one euro, will help a lot. I hope you could help to spread the link to reach the desired goal as soon as possible to protect my family and the kids.

I am seeking to raise €50,000 (Euros) to facilitate a secure passage for my family, allowing them to relocate to a safe country where they can find refuge for the next few months. This critical period will not only offer them a respite from the current turmoil but also provide an opportunity to rebuild our home once the war concludes and the situation in Gaza stabilizes. A detailed breakdown of the expenses is provided below for transparency and your understanding.

Sometimes they eat chips instead of bread (if there is any chips!)

I comprehend the hardships faced by the 2.2 million Gazan residents, and it weighs heavily on me to seek assistance when so many are enduring similar struggles. Yet, my current priority is the safety and well-being of my family, and your support holds the power to bring about a profound and positive change in their lives.

Sincerely,
Ahmed Alshawish
