Help Save the Little French School
Tax deductible
Dear LFS families, friends and supporters:
After operating for 33 years by providing loving and committed French immersion education to the children and families in Eugene, this year our school faces an especially challenging moment: the Coronavirus pandemic dramatically reduced our enrollment months in 2020 and has caused a critical cash flow shortage, which threatens to potentially close our school in January 2021. We need your immediate help!
In September, we chose to reopen for in-person learning so that we could continue to serve and support our students and families. However, reopening during the pandemic placed additional financial stress on the school. To ensure student safety, we invested in personal protective equipment, medical-grade air purifiers, portable hand washing stations and plexiglass barriers for all our rooms. Additionally, we invested in toys and supplies so that each child has an individual set. Finally, we decided to limited class sizes and have added assistant teachers to ensure that daily cleaning procedures and social distancing guidelines are met.
Funds given to our GoFundMe campaign help keep the school operational for the next few months as we hope for a safe return to sustainable enrollment numbers.
We are truly grateful for anything you can give. If you can't financially support, please give us a follow, a share, a kind word. Everything helps during these unprecedented times. The LFS staff is devoted to safely providing French immersion education for our Eugene and Springfield communities and we hope to continue being a part of your family for many generations to come.
Thank you for your consideration and support!
Merci Beaucoup,
Nathan
