Update:

Hello everyone,

I have sad news. I'm sorry to inform all of you that my husband, Emil Muhlhausen has recently passed away. We took him to the hospital here and they gave him more blood, and electrolytes. But due to failing kidneys and new tumors found in his abdomen area, we had the sad news that his cancer was too far advanced. After being in the hospital for 5 days trying to stabilize him, we moved him to hospice where after 3 days, he transitioned peacefully in his sleep.

Thank so much to all of you who donated. Your help and prayers are so much appreciated. I have setup a memorial fund in his name to help with all the medical bills stacking up.

Thank you again for all the help and prayers.

Urgent help needed to save the life of my husband!

Hello, I'm Pat Muhlhausen, wife of 58 years, of Emil Muhlhausen, who is also known on the internet as Patrick H. Bellringer. My husband has terminal stage 4, Squamous cell carcinoma that has grown to cover the entire right side of his face and down on his neck.  It has expanded into the skull, eye socket, cheek bone and jaw bones.  The medical doctors have told us that traditional cancer treatments of radiation and chemotherapy will not help him and only can recommend hospice care until the end of his life.

My husband is a fighter and a strong soul and wishes to not die of cancer.  We do not accept that he is terminal and have sought out alternative treatments and clinics that do them.  We have found a clinic in Arizona that does many different inter-venous modalities of alternative cancer treatments and because of this, has on average a 70% to 80% success rate with cancer patients, including "terminal" cancer patients.

All of these alternative treatments are not covered by any insurance or medicare plans, as they are out of the scope of traditional medicine.  Therefore, all costs of these treatments have to be covered by the patient, out-of-pocket, and have to be paid at the time of treatment, and they are very expensive.

In my husbands case, the doctor at the clinic prescribed 20 different inter-venous treatments that have to be administered 5 days a week for several weeks, up to 7 weeks, depending on he response to the treatments.  This is a collection of 20 inter-venous daily treatments that will attack his advanced stage of cancer, and each daily group of 20 treatments costs $5,000.

I'm 86 years old and my husband is 84.  We are not wealthy people.  We only live off of our social security and retirement incomes.  We don't own a home and live month to month barely making ends meet to pay our living expenses and bills.

Initially, to pay for these costly treatments, we sought out someone we personally knew who would have access to funds and asked him if he would help. He assured us that he would cover all costs of our treatments.  We also run a website and put out a notice there about our situation and our visitors donated several thousand dollars.  We also have cashed in our meager savings and asked our bank to  increase the ceiling on our credit card which they did.  Because of all of these sources of funds, we went ahead and booked an appointment at the clinic, bought airline tickets, and rented a house and car for 7 weeks.

We flew down here to Arizona and are currently in our rental house. This morning (Monday June 29, 2020) 15 minutes before we had to leave for our appointment, we got a phone call from or major donor.  He pulled out and will not be covering any of our medical costs for the treatments!

Also, in our initial phone conversation with the clinic, we were told that it would be a 7 week treatment plan and could cost upwards of about $70,000 total. But, at the appointment, we learned that the first day of treatments, including the blood tests needed, was over $6500 and that each daily collection of 20 different treatments would cost upwards of $5000.  Suddenly, our $12,000 cushion we had beyond the treatment costs  our major donor promised to pay, is tiny and will be used up after only our second day of treatment, tomorrow, June 30, 2020.

We are in desperate, urgent need of money to continue these much needed treatments.  Without them I'm afraid my dear husband won't make it.   With the increased costs of the treatment package and not knowing how many he needs yet, (depends on how he responds to them and to know that, we need at least 2 weeks of treatments) we are asking for $200,000 which would cover treatment costs  and expenses for the 7 weeks.

We believe God will help us and are praying for miracles to happen. I pray and know from the bottom of my heart, my husband will get through this and be totally healed.  Please help us.  Anything you can give will be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

With much Love,

Patricia Muhlhausen
