PLS HELP SAVE STEVE THE CORGI! DOG

Donation protected

This is Steve, an attention loving, independent, and overall lover...of all things that are food Welsh Corgi. For the first time in his whole life, he did not finish his meal. From there, his condition deteriorated - running a persistent fever at 105+ to free fluid leaking into his stomach. His pancreas is also breaking down and Steve is now in need of a major surgery and care. His owners are doing what they can to give Steve the happy and full life he deserves. If you are able, let us help Steve get the medical attention he needs because he has a lot of life and love to still give to the world.

This is baby Steve. He came to this world with two loving parents who would do anything for him.

Here is silly Steve. He is absolutely adorable. Everyone who meets Steve falls instantly in love with his personality and silliness!

Steve loves to eat and sleep!

Steve knows he is loved! He sometimes uses his cute face to get what he wants!

On Thursday, 4/5. Steve the corgi became very sick. His owners took him to an emergency veterinarian hospital and were quoted $2,600 for all the tests and hospitalization for Steve. He had blood in his diarrhea and he was unable to eat.

On Friday, 4/6. The owners thought Steve was getting better, but his fever went back up to 105 degrees. He became extremely sluggish and still have bloody diarrhea. If his fever hit 106, it could cause damage to his organs. At this point, the owners are looking to pay an additional $3000 for treatment and hospital fees.

Friday. 4/6 at 9:00 pm. The ultrasound showed inflamed intestines and the owners were still waiting for the fecal lab results. Steve is also on antibiotics, which will fight against pneumonia if he has it.

Saturday. 4/7 at 2:34 pm. The fever went back down to 102, but at this point it came back to 104+ and Steve was not getting any better. The antibiotics didn't seem to be working and they are going to do a third round. The owners paid another $5500 for next day hospitalization and treatment.

Saturday. 4/7 at 6:28 pm. Another ultrasound was performed on Steve and his intestines looked worse. The vet said they found free air and Steve's gallbladder walls have thickened. They performed emergency surgery on Steve and the vet had to cut away a piece of his pancreas. At this point, Steve has over 50% survival rate. They gave Steve a feeding tube so food goes into his stomach directly since he does not have the energy to eat. His white blood cell count is extremely low and after the surgery, he began to have difficulty in breathing. The owners paid another $2000 for transfusion and tube feeding.

This is Steve after the surgery. He doesn't look very well. We'd really like to raise money to help our dear friends to take care of Steve. He is one of the best corgis in the world, with his brother Shiro coming in at a close second. Please help us raise money to continue the care for Steve the Corgi! His brother Shiro is waiting at home for Steve's return!

We really appreciate your support and help. We will continue to update Steve's condition. Thank you so much and we all wish Steve a speedy recovery!
