Help Save Sam

Donation protected
Sam was one of two dachshunds that were rescued from a rural dog warden. When found, he and his best friend were sick, had major hair loss, over grown nails, and clearly had not been cared for in a long time.
Shortly after, they were adopted by Regina, who, despite the state they were in, fell in love with them, and knew she could give them a life where they could finally be happy and healthy little weenie dogs.  In the two years she has had them, she has totally turned them around, and you would never know they were the same dogs! they have their hair back, they look healthy and are so loved.
On 8/3, Sam, the larger of the two dachshunds, came on with sudden onset disc herniation caused inability to use lower extremities and to urinate. He cannot walk and cannot use his bladder. This is an emergency, and he is receiving emergency care as I write this right now.
This is a very expensive and risky procedure, and one that needs to be done quickly. Regina is willing to do anything for Sam, and has spent her whole life being a giver and a helper, and now I want to help her and Sam. Regina is not one to ask for help, but she loves Sam.

She rushed Sam down to Ohio State for Emergency Surgery where he will receive great care.

I am asking for you to help her like she has helped these two little lost weenie dogs. Can you contribute to help save Sam?
