Where do I start??
My moms world flipped upside down when she was told she had cancer recently. My mom (Robbin) has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer along with some cancer in her kidneys. In the last few months we have been very active to start a plan for her to get treatment, however it hasn’t been easy. She has already had several surgeries that have placed her in the hospital for several days at a time just to get healthy for treatment. She is roughly 97 pounds and has to eat from a feeding tube, who would ever think after living your whole life eating like anyone else to a feeding tube?! With all this comes bills. My dad is their sole provider for income, he’s worked extremely hard to help them live. He continues to work to provide for my mom, instead he should be by her side holding her hand through this tough time. She fortunately has insurance but that will not pay for it all. She has all treatments she still has to endure and several more surgeries if everything goes as planned. We are asking for help, I want to help her feel as if she doesn’t have to stress or worry about money and to relieve some pressure from my dad. We are asking for anyone who can, to help save my mom and get her back to who she has always been!
A little about my mom. She has been with my dad since she was 14 years old (jay). She gave birth to three children (two boys and a girl). She has 8 grandchildren that could not live without her. My mom has always put everyone of us first, even as grown adults she continues to put us before her. She has a passion for gardening, which can barely be done with her illness. She went from watching her grandkids everyday to being held up in doctors offices.
My mom has and will continue to fight for her life for us kids. Let’s come together and help her. Whether it be a donation or keeping her in your thoughts, we all would appreciate it more then you know and couldn’t thank everyone enough for their support!
