Please Help Us Save Rob's Life

This is Rob, my amazing and adorable husband of 23 years.  He was diagnosed on September 16, 2015 at 50 years of age with Stage IV esophageal cancer, which has metastasized to his liver and lungs. He is on his fourth type of chemotherapy since being diagnosed almost 9 mths ago, as well as several medications to manage associated pain, problems with eating and sleeping, to prevent blood clots, soften his stools, prevent or lessen nausea/vomiting, etc.  He hasn't been able to taste food in months and has lost a tremendous amount of weight.  He gets winded very easily and spends most of his time laying down on the couch or sleeping.  

His body is rapidly deteriorating from the last nine months of chemotherapy treatment, so he recently began CBD/THC oil treatments to kill the cancer cells.  There is a great deal of research and testimonials about CBD/THC oil treatments killing cancer and since the chemo hasn't worked thus far, we are hoping this will.  

However, it is VERY expensive, and there is no way we can afford it ourselves. Rob was denied disability, because he had not contributed enough into the system during the past 10 years. We met with 2 different attorneys, and there is nothing more we can do about it. He didn't qualify for SSI because I apparently make too much, yet it rarely covers our household expenses.   

So, we're reaching out and asking for your support to help us do what we can to save Rob's life.  All donations will go directly to the cost of his CBD/THC oil treatments, which is estimated to cost $9,600 over the next 4 months.  Upon remission, he will have to take maintenance doses, which will cost approximately $200/mth.  The dispensaries we use are Bloom in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Jackson County Compassion Club in Jackson, Michigan; receipts will be retained to document purchases.
